Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle accounting operations for the India subsidiary, including AP, AR, General Ledger, and payroll in QuickBooks
• Process vendor invoices end-to-end and manage weekly payment runs
• Generate customer invoices, apply cash receipts, and manage collections
• Coordinate with the US Controller on revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Prepare journal entries, perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and lead month-end/quarter-end close
• Maintain an audit-ready general ledger in accordance with US GAAP and Indian accounting standards
• Process and reconcile monthly payroll entries and statutory deductions
• Support statutory compliance including TDS filings and GST reconciliations
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
• Serve as QuickBooks administrator for the India entity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• 5–8 years of hands-on, full-cycle accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606
• Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Working knowledge of India statutory and payroll compliance (TDS, GST, PF, ESI)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CA qualification (completed or in progress)
• Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity environments
• Experience supporting audits and maintaining audit-ready documentation
• Exposure to ERP implementations or system migrations
