Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Maintain the general ledger and prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Support AP, AR, payroll accounting, and expense workflows
• Support accurate revenue recognition and balance sheet reconciliations
• Design and document accounting processes to support growth
• Support ERP and financial system implementation and optimization
• Assist in building out cost and inventory accounting practices
• Support standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliations
• Help establish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and accounting partners
• Deliver reliable financial data to support forecasting and planning

Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting experience
• 2–3 years in public accounting (Big 4 or regional firm)
• 1–2 years in an industry or startup environment
• Solid U.S. GAAP knowledge
• Experience with the close process and financial statement preparation
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification (or actively pursuing)
• Exposure to manufacturing, hardware, or inventory accounting
• Experience with ERP systems or accounting software migrations
• Interest in cost accounting and operational finance
• Startup or high-growth company experience
