Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage function-based accounting activities including revenue deferrals, legal expenses, marketing, and depreciation
• Execute month-end close duties such as recording journal entries and performing variance analysis
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and communicate unreconciled items to management
• Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
• Partner with internal and external auditors to support successful internal audits and quarterly/annual reviews
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize accounting workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of comparable accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
• Ability to work effectively within SAP systems
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA and/or Master’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA certification
• Experience with SAP implementation
