Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day company accounts and maintain the integrity of the General Ledger reporting system
• Ensure all journal entries are posted in a timely manner and close books monthly
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare data for internal audits and assist with annual tax audits and returns
• Manage statutory compliance and prepare annual tax schedules
• Produce error-free accounting reports and ensure subsidiary ledgers are closed according to established procedures
• Supervise subordinate staff

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Fluency in both Vietnamese and English
• Proficiency in SAP software
• Strong MS Office skills, including advanced Excel programming capabilities
• Deep understanding of local Vietnamese tax laws, principles, and accounting standards
