Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L and cash flow
• Handle budgeting, forecasting, and timely month-end/year-end closing
• Prepare and file VAT returns and handle WHT filings in compliance with ZATCA
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabian tax regulations and e-invoicing requirements
• Manage Zoho Books implementation, including chart of accounts and workflow automation
• Oversee payroll processing, bank transfers, and end-of-service calculations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 8–12 years of professional accounting experience
• Mandatory expertise in Zoho Books
• Proven experience working with Saudi Arabian companies and tax regulations (ZATCA, VAT, WHT)
• Excellent English communication skills
• Currently based in Egypt and willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or CMA/IFRS certification
• Experience in contracting, trading, retail, or event-based industries
• Exposure to UAE accounting standards
• Experience handling multi-entity accounting
