Senior Accountant, Payroll and General Accounting

Responsibilities

• Process payroll using Rippling, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, salaries, and overtime
• Manage payroll taxes including federal, state, and local withholdings
• Manage RSU release process in coordination with third-party equity administrators
• Prepare and process payroll-related journal entries
• Assist in the preparation of financial and payroll related audits
• Perform month-end close reconciliations and close areas
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure payroll accuracy

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar field
• Proficiency in Rippling HRIS and NetSuite preferred
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and accounting principles
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Excel
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing preferred
