Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and recurring journal entries
• Own month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities
• Generate and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and entity-level P&Ls
• Oversee accounting operations for development projects, operating companies, and personal assets
• Track project-level expenses for real estate developments
• Collaborate with external accounting partners on quarterly tax calls and compliance needs
• Support the VP of Asset Management and Fractional CFO with data preparation and reporting
• Maintain hands-on daily usage of NetSuite for imports and detailed transaction work

Requirements

• Strong, hands-on NetSuite experience including day-to-day usage and imports
• Advanced Excel skills for large datasets and financial reconciliations
• Proven experience preparing general ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Ability to work U.S. business hours
• High attention to detail and ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
