Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepaids, payroll, and intercompany transactions
• Maintain reconciliations for cash, AR, AP, inventory, and liabilities
• Lead monthly and quarterly close processes and ensure timely completion
• Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
• Conduct variance analyses comparing actuals against budgets and forecasts
• Prepare PBC schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards and internal controls
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend automation improvements for accounting workflows
• Mentor junior accounting team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or SAP
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH)
• Experience managing month-end close and financial reporting processes

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting certification
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and foreign currency accounting
• Background in SaaS, professional services, or real estate
• Experience supporting ERP implementations or finance automation initiatives
