Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle accounting processes including journal entries, accruals, and depreciation
• Maintain reconciliations for cash, AR, AP, deferred revenue, and fixed assets
• Manage monthly and quarterly close cycles within 5–7 business days
• Prepare financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements
• Perform variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and provide financial commentary
• Support external audits by preparing PBC schedules and ensuring GAAP/IFRS compliance
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation for accounting workflows
• Review and mentor work completed by staff accountants and bookkeepers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and accrual accounting
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH)

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or ACCA certification
• Multi-entity accounting experience
• Foreign currency accounting exposure
• Background in SaaS, real estate, or professional services
• Experience with ERP implementation or accounting automation
