Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations including invoice processing, tax documentation, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and support month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Perform monthly GL reconciliations for bank accounts, AP, AR, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany accounts.
• Prepare and submit tax documentation in compliance with Philippines regulations (VAT, WHT, DST, FBT, ITR).
• Manage Accounts Receivable by issuing sales invoices and local receipts, and reconciling billing with collections.
• Oversee Accounts Payable by verifying invoice accuracy, allocating expenses to correct cost centers, and performing vendor reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate customer, vendor, and bank master data within the ERP system.
• Coordinate with AP, AR, Procurement, and Treasury departments to ensure smooth operational flow and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 5-6 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Philippines tax regulations, specifically VAT and WHT.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (M3 or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• High attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines independently.
