Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly APAC closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for end-to-end accounting and indirect tax activities across APAC countries
• Prepare monthly financial reports for stakeholders and perform regular business performance analysis
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and consultants for audit and compliance processes
• Provide financial information and reports for regional operational and business reviews on a quarterly basis
• Assist with technical accounting, focusing on regional policies and local filing requirements
• Manage potential risks in accounting and compliance to act as a trusted business advisor
• Drive continuous improvement in financial and compliance processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• More than 5 years of professional working experience
• Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across all organizational levels
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced team environment
• Flexibility to work on the India time zone when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and indirect tax
