Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee client financial operations, including audits, taxation, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll management
• Coordinate external audits by collaborating with auditors and providing necessary documentation
• Ensure strict compliance with US taxation laws and timely filing of tax returns and payments
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation
• Maintain meticulous financial records using advanced accounting software
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights for operational efficiency
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff
• Assist in the automation of systems and spreadsheets to streamline accounting functions

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• CPA Certificate is required
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in full-cycle accounting and tax
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with QuickBooks and/or other accounting software
• Experience with UltraTax and/or other tax preparation software
• Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Public Accounting
• Knowledge of International Tax Law
