About the Company

Lightspeed is the leading provider of cloud-based software for dealerships, serving the Powersport, Marine, RV, Trailer, and Golf Car industries. Their Dealer Management Solution (DMS) enables dealerships to optimize end-to-end business operations including sales, parts, service, and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for multi-entity subsidiaries
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, intercompany, and deferred costs
• Manage balance sheet account reconciliations in FloQast
• Support Workiva-based financial reporting packages and PE deliverables
• Design, document, and improve accounting process flows and automation workflows
• Use AI tools like Claude to enhance financial analysis, reporting narratives, and data transformation
• Serve as a power user for NetSuite, including report building and system enhancements
• Partner with FP&A, Revenue Operations, and HR on reporting and accruals

Requirements

• Master's degree in Accounting
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• SaaS software company experience
• Multi-entity or multi-currency accounting experience
• Experience in a PE-backed company with exposure to investor reporting
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
• Demonstrated proficiency with NetSuite
• Native or advanced proficiency with AI tools and LLMs (Claude, Claude Code, etc.)
• Proven ability to develop and document accounting process flows

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA license or active candidacy
• Experience with FloQast, Workiva, RAMP, Salesforce, or Workato
• Experience implementing contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems
