Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day activities related to monthly, quarterly, and annual closes
• Initiate journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Prepare accruals associated with key accounts
• Prepare monthly income statements and balance sheets
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Partner with FP&A to perform close activities and review key drivers of results
• Liaise on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable matters
• Help implement and enforce accounting policies and best practices
• Prepare and consolidate various ad hoc analyses, reports, and data requests

Requirements

• BS in Accounting required
• 3-5 years of accounting experience with progressive growth
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented background
• Strong time-management skills and ability to meet tight month-end deadlines
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA
• CPA or individual sitting for the CPA Exam
• Microsoft D365 experience
• Retail industry experience
