Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations for the French entities.
• Supervise monthly closing processes, review and post journal entries, and analyze variances between actuals and budget.
• Conduct detailed reviews of revenues, expenses, and account reconciliations.
• Interpret financial data and make necessary accounting adjustments.
• Manage tax declarations in compliance with French regulations with support from an external firm.
• Coordinate annual audits and quarterly reviews, responding to auditor requests and ensuring implementation of recommendations.
• Lead or participate in strategic group projects as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, ideally in audit firms or corporate accounting departments.
• Accounting qualification such as DSCG, DEC, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of French accounting and tax regulations.
• Professional level of English.
• Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple entities simultaneously.
