Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Support the Assistant Accounting Manager with Accounts Receivable oversight and the Accounts Payable Manager
• Assist with cash management and general ledger maintenance
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants or accounting staff
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and relevant regulations
• Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support financial decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Titanium accounting software
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience in Construction or Federal Contracts
• Familiarity with ERP systems and automation tools
