Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Execute a timely and accurate monthly close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Own end-to-end AP and AR processes, including vendor invoices, payment runs, and AR aging monitoring
• Prepare and review monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and key balance sheet accounts
• Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policy
• Support the annual financial audit by preparing schedules and working with external auditors
• Build AI-powered workflows to eliminate repeatable and manual work in accounting operations
• Partner with Finance, People Ops, and other teams to ensure reliable financial data across the business

Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting experience with a solid grasp of GAAP
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience improving accounting workflows using AI or automation
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Experience working within a general ledger system (NetSuite or comparable ERP preferred)
• Ability to work in-person at our NYC headquarters 3–4 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Experience at a high-growth technology company
• Experience replacing spreadsheet-based workflows with automated solutions
