Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports for assigned properties or entities
• Coordinate with AP and AR teams to ensure accurate recording of payables and receivables
• Support the month-end close by ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and records are complete
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, workflows, and internal controls

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4–7 years of accounting experience
• Solid understanding of IFRS and SOCPA accounting principles
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Fluency in both English and Arabic
