Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and accruals for multiple portfolio companies.
• Partner with the Controller and FP&A team to support monthly financial reviews, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives.
• Develop and manage cash flow forecasts and oversee day-to-day cash management activities.
• Support funding initiatives by preparing disclosure schedules and ensuring compliance.
• Assist with company equity programs, including cap table management and 409a valuation support.
• Manage fixed assets, finance and operating leases, and employee expense reports via Expensify.
• Maintain and reconcile financial data across systems such as NetSuite, NSPB, Coupa, and LeaseQuery.
• Coordinate annual audits, statutory filings, and investor reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, HR, Payroll, and Procurement to provide financial insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4 years of accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in public accounting or a high-growth tech/life sciences company.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA license.
