Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting

Responsibilities

• Support the financial reporting process, including the preparation of GAAP compliant annual and interim financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules
• Contribute to the monthly and quarterly close of complex areas such as equity transactions and stock-based compensation
• Research and document complex accounting issues including lease accounting, foreign currency, and business combinations
• Conduct research on disclosure requirements for revenue recognition and acquisitions
• Monitor and assist in the adoption of new reporting standards
• Help document and support accounting policies and controls consistent with SOX requirements
• Represent the organization with external financial auditors
• Partner with FP&A, Legal, and HR to facilitate timely financial statement preparation
• Identify and drive process improvements and automation within reporting processes using NetSuite

Requirements

• 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm working with technology or SaaS clients
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, FASB, PCAOB, and SEC regulations
• Experience preparing or reviewing external financial reports (Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Active CPA license or CPA eligibility
• Experience with international entities and multi-currency consolidations
• Exposure to IFRS reporting requirements
• Proficiency with NetSuite or SEC reporting software (Workiva, ActiveDisclosure)
