Senior Accountant

About the Company

Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform. Fanatics Collectibles is a new company operating at the intersection of collectibles, culture, and technology, reimagining the collectibles experience for fans, partners, and creators.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close including accruals, reversals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage vendor and payment operations, verifying invoices and preparing payment proposals
• Reconcile banking and Stripe balances and investigate variances
• Support tax compliance by preparing inputs for monthly VAT deliverables
• Manage intercompany recharges and validate calculations
• Maintain close governance, checklists, and audit readiness documentation
• Support seller-facing finance operations, including commission and incentive validation
• Partner with local Operations and Seller teams to resolve operational finance issues
• Identify and implement automation for repetitive manual tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of experience in an accounting or statutory environment
• Experience within a Big Four accounting firm is preferred
• Strong working knowledge of French GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP
• Fluency in both French and English is required
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with outsourced bookkeeping or shared portals preferred
