Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and meeting established deadlines
• Lead the resolution of issues on assigned accounts and reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting
• Prepare audit schedules and collaborate with third-party auditors to ensure financial compliance
• Identify areas of concern in accounting records and provide proactive analysis and support
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting controls, procedures, and policies
• Assist with consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency accounting
• Support purchase accounting and the integration of new acquisitions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role
• Proficiency in using complex spreadsheets and various accounting systems
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting international subsidiaries in a global environment
• Public Accounting experience
• CPA or MBA designation
• Experience with Microsoft D365
