Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial accounting for China legal entities, including voucher preparation, accounting entries, and financial report generation.
• Oversee tax filing, payment processes, and compliance to support tax audits and planning.
• Monitor company cash flow, liquidity, and prepare regular cash budget and utilization analysis reports.
• Control expenses by reviewing reimbursements for policy compliance, budget alignment, and approval integrity.
• Manage accounts receivable by monitoring payment terms, generating aging reports, and collaborating with RSM to accelerate cash inflow.
• Consolidate China region financial data (revenue, costs, cash flow) using systems like HFM or Sage for headquarters reporting.
• Partner with business departments to align financial processes with operational needs and explain policy requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of financial work experience with familiarity in MNC financial processes.
• Proficiency in financial software such as UFida, Sage, or HFM.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluent in English reading and writing, with the ability to prepare financial reports independently in English.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication skills for collaborating with global headquarters.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in expense review or cost control.
