Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage function-based accounting activities including revenue deferrals, legal expenses, marketing, and depreciation
• Execute month-end close duties such as recording journal entries, performing variance analysis, and updating subledgers
• Prepare and review reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy
• Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
• Partner with internal and external auditors to support successful quarterly and annual reviews
• Collaborate with finance and operations partners across North America and global locations
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of comparable accounting experience
• Strong accounting background with an in-depth understanding of internal controls
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
• Ability to work effectively within SAP systems
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA and/or Master’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA certification
• Experience with SAP implementation
