Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Process 3-way P.O. matching invoices with high volume line items
• Manage check requests and respond to all vendor inquiries
• Reconcile vendor statements and research/correct discrepancies
• Assist in month-end closing and reporting processes
• Handle salary processing, WPS system management, and VAT submission
• Manage accounts auditing and processing of End of Service Benefits (EOSB)
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
• Maintain files and documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices

Requirements

• Graduate or Master's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of professional experience in accounting or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various accounting software
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labor Law
