Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly close duties including preparing journal entries, variance reporting, reconciliations, and account analysis
• Create and improve accounting internal controls and develop efficiency improvements
• Establish recurring processes for new entities and document procedures to comply with SOX standards
• Prepare weekly and monthly cash transfer certificates and update cash projections
• Create and present ad-hoc analytics to communicate effectively with different departments
• Assist KPMG and Internal Audit with quarterly and annual audits by providing supporting documentation and timely responses

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
• 3 years of accounting experience, specifically in roles such as Senior Accountant or similar
• Proven experience with month-end/year-end close, financial statement preparation, and analysis
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and/or Google Suite
• Experience working with large ERP systems such as Oracle
• Advanced data analytics skills
