Senior Accountant

About the Company

Corgi is vertically integrating the entire insurance industry. We design, underwrite, price, and issue insurance directly. We're rebuilding the insurance industry from the ground up using AI.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close across multiple entities including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger
• Manage accruals and prepaids with precision
• Build and maintain intercompany schedules and support consolidation and elimination entries
• Produce clear, accurate financial reporting across entities and at the consolidated level
• Drive audit including clean workpapers and strong documentation
• Partner with ops, finance, and legal to support budgets, forecasts, and decision-making
• Identify and implement process improvements as the company scales
• Support acquisitions and new entity integrations

Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional) strongly preferred
• Strong GAAP foundation
• Experience with multi-entity environments, consolidations, and intercompany accounting
• Ability to operate in a high-growth, high-complexity environment
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills for leadership interaction
• Bias for ownership and speed

• CPA or active CPA candidate
