Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile the general ledger to account statements on a regular basis
• Assist with quarterly book closing and the generation of financial statements
• Support the audit process and the preparation of quarterly financial reports
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods and policies to ensure compliance
• Act as a liaison between internal departments and external parties, such as clients, suppliers, and banks
• Manage federal and state tax return schedules in compliance with laws and regulations
• Review tax returns prepared by external accountants for accuracy
• Research company tax issues to identify and implement solutions

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (both written and verbal)
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 3+ years of related work experience in accounting or finance
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
