Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations and consolidations of financial statements
• Ensure accurate recording and posting of financial transactions in the general ledger
• Reconcile bank, cash, and credit card transactions on a daily basis
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
• Prepare and post adjusting journal entries for properties and consolidation
• Execute monthly and year-end financial close processes, including account balance reconciliations
• Develop and implement accounting procedures by evaluating current processes and recommending improvements
• Prepare variance analyses of financial statements against the budget
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audits and compliance
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and tax return preparation processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 3 years of general accounting experience
• Fluency in Korean
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of or exposure to IFRS
