Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
• Maintain and reconcile key balance sheet accounts such as inventory, accruals, and prepaid expenses
• Assist with cost accounting and inventory accounting to ensure accurate valuation and COGS
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify variances
• Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams regarding inventory and production activities
• Support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger activities
• Assist with audit preparation and provide documentation for external auditors
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Contribute to improvements in accounting processes and reporting workflows
• Assist with NetSuite or ERP system maintenance

Requirements

• 4–6 years of accounting experience, ideally in Food & Beverage or CPG
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA required
• Experience with inventory and cost accounting in a CPG or manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred
