Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries
• Oversee processing of supplier invoices, employee expense reports, and customer billing
• Perform regular bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and prepayments
• Assist in the preparation and filing of Swiss VAT returns and ensure compliance with Swiss accounting standards
• Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports
• Improve, automate, and streamline accounting processes and internal controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Brevet Fédéral de spécialiste en finance et comptabilité, or CFC d'employé(e) de commerce
• 5 to 10 years of proven experience as an Accountant
• Solid understanding of Swiss accounting principles (Swiss OR)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Hands-on experience with modern ERP systems or accounting software
• Fluency in French and English
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
