Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries
• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions
• Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts and preparing trial balances
• Assist with external review by providing information for auditors
• Record and remit sales tax from customers
• Cross train multiple functions within the Accounting Department as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution
• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role
• Sales tax experience is a plus
• Strong research, analytical, and attention to detail skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Clear and concise communication skills
