Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Own core accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Ensure the accuracy of financial results in compliance with GAAP
• Partner with FP&A, operations, and leadership to provide clear, timely financial reporting
• Present monthly and quarterly results to the Finance leadership team
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline close and reporting cycles
• Assist in preparing for audits and work directly with auditors
• Contribute to system enhancements, internal controls, and automation initiatives

Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and experience applying it in practice
• Proven track record of executing month-end close and delivering accurate financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex analyses)
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other protected individual per export regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification or currently on the CPA track
• Public accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite
• Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed company
• Experience with consolidations, multiple entity structures, and complex business models
