Senior Accountant (AP & Banking)

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, 3-way matching, and vendor payment execution
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations (VAT), and IFRS accounting standards
• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve disputes regarding contractual and payment terms
• Perform regular AP sub-ledger to GL reconciliations and support month-end/year-end closing processes
• Serve as the AP focal point for internal and external audits, providing necessary schedules and documentation
• Coordinate with banks for account management, KYC, and credit limit applications
• Suggest automation initiatives and process improvements within the ERP system

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Proficiency in Zoho Books or similar ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
• CMA qualification is preferred
