Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices for Government/Public Sector clients including Cost Reimbursable, T&M, and Firm Fixed Price contracts
• Ensure invoice compliance with contract terms and client specifications
• Manage weekly AR/AP activities, aging analysis, and subcontractor invoice review
• Set up new charge codes and project structures for awarded contracts
• Prepare and analyze financial and accounting reports, including Trial Balance and General Ledger reviews
• Conduct annual reconciliations for receivables, contract assets, PPE, and payables
• Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, GAAP, and other federal procurement regulations
• Support internal and external audit activities, including DCAA-related matters
• Partner with Project and Operations Managers regarding invoicing and AR matters

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 3–5 years of government contracting accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, GAAP, and government procurement regulations
• Experience with various contract types and government solicitations (RFP, RFQ, RFI, ROM)
• Understanding of Service Contract Act (SCA) and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs)
• Advanced Excel skills
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance
