Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the month-end and year-end close process and preparation of financial statements and filings in accordance with GAAP
• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts
• Manage accounts payable including reviewing invoices, approving payments, and managing vendor relationships
• Oversee accounts receivable including invoicing customers and working with customer success on collections
• Coordinate with external tax accountants and auditors
• Manage 1099 filings for contractors
• Oversee employee expense reporting and corporate card reconciliation
• Answer ad hoc finance questions from across the business

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field
• 2-3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software
• Exemplary knowledge of GAAP
• Strong analytical and problem solving mindset
• Outstanding communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Accountancy
• CPA license
