Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of inventory and warehouse-related accounting activities for medical device shipments
• Coordinate with Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain, and Shared Service teams to ensure accurate shipment recording
• Perform invoice controls and investigate financial discrepancies
• Ensure full compliance with SOX requirements by maintaining robust financial controls
• Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Support internal and external audits with a focus on inventory accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Relevant accounting experience, preferably in an operational or inventory-heavy environment
• Experience working within an international or multinational company
• Solid understanding of financial processes, controls, and accuracy requirements
• High proficiency in Excel with strong data management skills
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is an advantage
• Ability to work on-site in Machelen at least 4 days per week
• Experience with SAP is a plus
