Senior Account Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Forecast and close vision solutions opportunities with End Users, Partners, and OEMs to reach quota goals
• Utilize the Cognex sales process to effectively demonstrate products and win large strategic opportunities
• Follow up on sales leads and schedule customer visits to identify large opportunities
• Conduct effective customer visits within a solutions sales environment
• Collaborate with counterparts in other territories on integrated or multi-territory opportunities
• Address customer inquiries, understand system requirements, and differentiate Cognex solutions
• Assist at trade shows and other marketing events
• Coordinate product evaluations in collaboration with the Applications Engineering team
• Maintain and continuously update project information in the Sales Book

Requirements

• Technical Degree or equivalent work experience
• Proven sales track record in the automation or a similar industry
• Experience operating in a solutions sales environment
• Experience selling technical products to all levels of an organization
• Proficiency in MS Windows applications
• Ability to travel 40% of the time
• Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in selling vision products
