Senior Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute business development and capture strategy in line with company goals
• Identify new opportunities and maintain relationships with customers and partners
• Lead capture efforts including customer cultivation, sales presentations, and proposal writing
• Maintain a 3x target pipeline and actionable 6-month forecast
• Analyze market opportunities, size, and key customer accounts
• Identify key conferences and trade shows for marketing presence
• Document customer requirements and validate with internal product development
• Interface with customers and internal management on new opportunities

Requirements

• Four-year technical degree or equivalent military service/sales track record
• At least 10 years of overall professional experience
• At least 5 years of related experience in identified market or technology segments
• Deep understanding of military communications markets, specifically Special Operations and Intelligence Community
• Ability to explain complex signal processing and engineering concepts to customers
• Familiarity with design, manufacturing, and sales of handheld and embedded radio products
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active Secret security clearance (or higher) with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI eligibility

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of business development success in Special Operations or Intelligence segments
• Familiarity with wideband networked military/commercial communication products
• Experience with government contracting procedures
