About the role
Responsibilities
- Generate and identify new sales opportunities through research, analysis, and discovery
- Analyze customers’ needs and offer personalized solutions
- Match customer demand with quotes for freight-related inquiries
- Build strategies to increase sales and strengthen partnerships
- Maintain accurate information in company operating systems
- Manage daily shipments to ensure "No-Fail" policy
- Collaborate with team on pricing strategy and account implementation
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with converting drivers to mobile electronic tracking systems
- Maintain market knowledge of shipping lanes, geography, and seasonality
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Proficient in Google Suite and Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in auto-hauling
- Previous sales experience
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
