Senior Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new shipper relationships through outbound outreach and networking
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to closing new business
• Oversee day-to-day customer accounts and coordinate freight movements with carriers and internal operations
• Negotiate rates with customers and carriers to maintain strong profit margins
• Grow and retain existing accounts by expanding freight volume and providing proactive communication
• Monitor market conditions and provide strategic transportation solutions to customers

Requirements

• Sales, business development, or account management experience preferred
• Freight brokerage experience with a book of business
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with a competitive, results-driven mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
