Senior Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Generate and identify new sales opportunities through research, analysis, and discovery
• Maintain and grow existing accounts by managing daily customer requirements
• Build and expand book of business with carriers while maintaining strong relationships
• Provide and negotiate freight rates with carriers
• Manage daily shipments to ensure timely pick-up and delivery
• Actively procure new carriers based on volume and lane density
• Analyze customer needs and offer personalized solutions
• Solve complex problems and act as the main contact for account communications
• Collaborate with the team on pricing strategy and account implementation plans

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a brokerage or logistics environment
• Proven track record of success as an Account Manager
• Experience with TMS or CRM platforms
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
