About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive net new business acquisition by identifying and closing opportunities with brands not currently using The Trade Desk
- Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, pitching, negotiation, and executing commercial agreements
- Proactively build pipeline through targeted outreach, industry engagement, and strategic account planning
- Lead value-driven discovery conversations to align platform solutions with client business objectives
- Present and demonstrate the platform to senior decision-makers and C-level stakeholders across brands and agencies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Client Services, Trading, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure successful client onboarding
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting to provide visibility into new business performance
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of experience in digital media or ad tech sales, with a focus on net new business development
- Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying, acquisition-focused role
- Experience selling programmatic or advertising technology solutions (DSP experience strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to prospect, build pipeline, and close high-value deals from scratch
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Highly strategic and analytical with strong commercial problem-solving skills

- Established professional network within major brands or advertising agencies
- Self-motivated "hunter" mentality with a strong bias toward action
