About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sales efforts across enterprise accounts in Melbourne/Australia, focusing on prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business
  • Drive complex, enterprise-wide sales cycles and present value propositions to C-level business and IT stakeholders
  • Research customer environments to create effective business impact models, account plans, and win plans
  • Develop business cases using ROI and TCO models to position software solutions effectively
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process, including lead generation, evaluation, and closing, in collaboration with Sales Engineering and Marketing
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts using CRM tools
  • Adhere to established sales methodologies, specifically MEDDPICC, to ensure effective cycle management

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in quota-carrying software sales targeting large enterprise clients
  • Proven track record of consistent over-quota performance and successful senior-level stakeholder engagement
  • Expertise in driving complex enterprise sales cycles within the BI, AI, Data Analytics, CRM, or Cloud sectors
  • Proficiency with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Sandler
  • Strong understanding of Return on Investment (ROI) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles
  • Ability to work independently as a creative self-starter in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Degree educated or equivalent academic/work experience
