About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sales efforts across enterprise accounts in Australia, driving complex sales cycles for Business Intelligence and AI software
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business into both new prospects and installed accounts
  • Drive enterprise-wide sales cycles by presenting value propositions to C-level business and IT stakeholders
  • Develop effective business impact models, account plans, and win plans, including ROI and TCO models
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process, from lead generation and qualification to evaluation and closing
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Inside Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Professional Services
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts using CRM tools
  • Adhere to established sales methodologies, specifically MEDDPICC, to ensure effective cycle management

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in quota-carrying software sales targeting large enterprise clients
  • Proven track record of consistent over-quota performance and successful complex sales cycles
  • Strong experience in senior-level stakeholder engagement for IT and business-led opportunities
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, CRM, ERP, or Cloud enterprise software
  • Proficiency with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Sandler
  • Demonstrable understanding of Return on Investment (ROI) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles
  • Degree educated or equivalent academic/work experience
  • Ability to work independently as a creative self-starter in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
