Senior Account Executive, Public Sector (SLED)

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute sophisticated, end-to-end sales cycles within the SLED market, managing complex RFP/RFI processes and multi-departmental buy-in.
• Design and execute a territory playbook to drive new business acquisition and strategic expansion.
• Cultivate deep, long-term "trusted advisor" relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and Program Directors across state and local agencies.
• Partner with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure successful pilot-to-production transitions.
• Leverage a network of channel partners, system integrators, and lobbyists to accelerate market entry and deal velocity.
• Maintain a rigorous, predictable sales pipeline and provide accurate quarterly forecasts.

Requirements

• 7–15 years of demonstrable success in technology sales, specifically focused on SLED (State, Local, and Higher Education) markets.
• Proven track record of consistently over-achieving seven-figure quotas and closing landmark government deals.
• Deep understanding of public sector procurement vehicles, including NASPO, GSA, and state-specific contracts.
• Existing book of business and high-level contacts within key state and local agencies.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical value propositions for both technical staff and elected officials.
• Bachelor's degree is required.

• Advanced degree or relevant certifications in Public Administration or Business.
• Experience thriving in high-growth, fast-paced startup environments.
