Senior Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Lead and orchestrate "One Microsoft" team efforts to drive growth and wins with high-potential startups and unicorns on the Microsoft Cloud Platform.
• Identify, qualify, and engage with the UK startup and scaleup segment to prioritize strategic wins and Azure AI adoption.
• Build strategic partnerships with founders, CTOs, and executive leadership teams to accelerate their growth and solution building.
• Envision new industry scenarios and business models in collaboration with high-growth companies.
• Drive technical alignment across internal teams including Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success.
• Act as a customer advocate, developing account plans to ensure revenue targets and customer outcomes are met.
• Deliver sales excellence by leading extended virtual teams to achieve market share growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience selling into VC-backed startups and scaleups.
• A track record of landing net-new logos and driving strategic cloud or platform deals.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML workloads and the challenges faced by growth-stage companies.
• Deep knowledge of startup funding cycles and the digital native ecosystem.
• Background in consistently delivering results in account management or high-growth sales roles.
