About the role
Responsibilities
- Own a quota and the full sales cycle from first touch through activation across diverse industries and use cases
- Design and execute personal pipeline strategies across outbound, inbound, and creative channels
- Conduct high-quality discovery with founders and finance teams to uncover complex financial operational problems
- Connect customer pain points to Mercury’s product suite through clear, consultative storytelling
- Collaborate with Account Management, Marketing, and Product teams to win complex deals and improve go-to-market motions
- Provide structured feedback from the field to help iterate on product and sales processes
Requirements
- At least three years of closing experience in an Account Executive role or equivalent full-cycle sales experience
- Proven ability to build and manage a high-quality pipeline and consistently hit or exceed targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to different audiences
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Genuine interest in fintech and helping growing businesses scale through better financial tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling directly to founders, owner-operators, or small leadership teams
