Senior Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Qualify leads and prioritize customer opportunities for enterprise and strategic prospects
• Manage complex sales processes from initial engagement through contract negotiations
• Lead the contracting process in collaboration with Legal teams
• Articulate Marqeta's technical capabilities and value proposition to stakeholders
• Develop proposals and expert responses to RFIs/RFPs

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of sales experience in payments, Fintech, or complex B2B technology
• Mandatory deep expertise in the payments and card ecosystem
• Proven familiarity with the fintech ecosystem and SaaS/platform technology
• Strong financial acumen for evaluating complex deal structures and financial models
• Superior interpersonal, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally

• Strong experience selling specifically in the issuer-processing space
