Responsibilities
- Focus on growing the Mapbox business in the Japan market for domestic and global use cases
- Build and own relationships with large enterprises and strategic customers from first contact to product launch
- Present compelling solutions with clear business outcomes by combining Mapbox building blocks with deep customer knowledge
- Communicate customer needs and industry patterns back to product teams to influence the roadmap
- Develop and execute strategies to expand adoption in key industry verticals
Requirements
- Japanese native language fluency and English business proficiency
- 8+ years of sales experience
- Strong technical sales aptitude with experience closing six and seven-figure deals
- Deep understanding of the Japanese market and geospatial environment
- Ability to navigate complex customer relationships up to C-level leadership
- Experience with large, complex commercial and legal agreements
- Proven ability to work towards sales goals
